Join us for an exciting online event where we dive into the fascinating world of archives!

Gerber/Hart will be joining with Curve magazine founder Franco Stephens as well as the June Mazer Lesbian Archives and the Curve Foundation for an exciting behind the scenes look at Curve Magazine and a show and tell of two of the U.S.’s largest LGBTQ+ archives.

Get ready to be amazed by photographs, letters, and documents that offer a glimpse into the creation of Curve magazine. Our speakers will guide you through their favorite materials, sharing anecdotes and insights that will bring history to life.

Gerber/Hart has resumed its regular hours of operation for walk-in patrons and for viewing exhibits.

Gerber/Hart is located in the Howard Brown Health Clark building, which is a healthcare facility. Face masks are required to enter the building, in Howard Brown spaces, and common spaces like the hallways and bathrooms. Face masks are optional in Gerber/Hart spaces.

You do not need to make an appointment to browse the library collection or view exhibits. It is helpful for researchers (those making use of archives collections, periodicals, or items from Special Collections and making use of a researcher's table) to let us know ahead of time that they will be coming to do research (please email info@gerberhart.org)
